Edoc is teaming up with Helistrat – the leading environmental consultancy, to help bust the common myths, which continue to constrain the commercial opportunity presented for UK businesses to improve their recycling and resource management.
Representatives from the two organisations will be holding an interactive seminar aimed at helping businesses understand how setting the right strategy can help them unlock the revenue potential of the resources they are currently throwing away. But also how technologies such as edoc can be beneficial to business when developing their waste strategy.
Harvey Laud from Helistrat, who will be running the seminar, will be joined by Victoria Vaughan-Williams from edoc, to highlight the role that innovative systems such as edoc can play in that process.
Helistrat, who work with some of the UK’s best known brands to develop and implement sustainable business models, have already recognised the benefits of moving over to edoc and are currently in the process of rolling it out across its business. They will therefore be able to provide businesses with a first-hand account of their experience of how edoc can benefit their business.
Edoc, launched in January is an innovative new online system that provides businesses with a quick, easy and cost effective way to record the transfers of commercial and industrial waste.
Edoc is free to use but not mandatory and provides businesses with a simple way to ensure compliance with their duty of care.
Key features of edoc include:
- create waste transfer notes (WTN) and season tickets and share them between the parties involved
- review, edit, sign and store WTNs securely online
- view a permanent log of all actions performed on a WTN, by whom, and when
- use a simple tracking feature for transfers involving more than one movement
Over 1300 businesses across the UK have already registered to use the system, recognising the time and cost saving benefits that edoc can offer.
The seminar will be held at 12noon on Wednesday 18 June, in the Networking Hub at The Facilities Show.
